How WeekendCAD handles the data you and your CAD files bring in.
What we collect
Account details you give us — name, email, company — and the project data you upload: assembly structures, part records, drawings, documents and exported 3D models. We also keep basic usage logs (pages, timestamps, IP) to run and secure the service.
Why we hold it
To provide the app, keep your bills of material in sync, support you when something breaks, and to send service notices. During beta we may contact you about changes and pricing.
Your CAD data is yours
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use your models to train third-party systems. Files are visible to your account and anyone you deliberately share a link with.
Storage and processors
Data is stored on cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. We use a small number of processors for hosting, email and error reporting, each bound to handle data only on our instructions.
Retention and deletion
We keep project data while your account is open. Write to info@weekendcad.com to export or delete your data; deletion completes within 30 days, minus anything we must keep for tax or legal reasons.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, export or erasure of your personal data at any time. Requests go to info@weekendcad.com and are answered within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for sign-in and session security, and minimal analytics to see which features are used. No advertising trackers.
